- General description of position
|
Main Duties
To work alongside certificated civil enforcement agents, be trained in the effective collection of outstanding Council Tax / Business Rates / Parking Tickets & Rent you will be attending premises with a warrant / Liability Order (with certificated enforcement agents) to collect money or to levy and remove goods for sale. You will be required to take both practical and written examinations in preparation for the issue of your first bailiff general certificate. You will be given full training on the legislation, powers of a civil enforcement agent and conduct, case updating of warrants/ L/O’s after attendance to properties & recording accurate information. You will also make and receive telephone calls to defaulters, clients and office staff.
Have knowledge for the accounting for all money taken, daily banking and remittance / office procedures. |

No formal qualifications required. A full UK driving licence is required.
Recruitment is competence based and applicants will need to show in their application and at interview that they have demonstrated the competencies required for the post in their present duties or activities. |

Unsociable hours when required (e.g. early morning and evening work/ Saturday

Field based work primarily within Greater London areas coverage can be anywhere within England & Wales
