  • General description of position

 

 

 

Main Duties
Collection of outstanding Council Tax / NDR / Parking Tickets & Rent
Attending premises with a warrant / Liability Order (alone or with others) to collect money or to levy and remove goods for sale.
Attending premises with a warrant to collect outstanding commercial rent arrears.
Carrying out forfeitures on behalf of landlords.
Administration work updating warrants / L/O’s after attendance to properties, recording accurate information. Make and receive telephone calls to defaulters, clients and office staff.
Accounting for all money taken, daily banking and remittance into office.
Additional field training of additional trainee bailiffs at the companies request

  • Requirements

No formal qualifications required.  A full UK driving licence is required.
Recruitment is competence based and applicants will need to show in their application and at interview that they have demonstrated the competencies required for the post in their present duties or activities.

Starting at £18,000

  • OTE

£40,000 linked to market leading commission structure

20 days annual leave per annum
8 Public holidays per annum.
37.5 hour working week excluding lunch breaks.
Unsociable hours when required (e.g. early morning and evening work / Saturday.

Mobile phone
Field based work primarily within Greater London areas coverage can be anywhere within England & Wales
No smoking policy operated in office areas and company vehicles
